/Why did we start STRUCTUR.?
Both of us had worked alongside each other for the past 8 years at our previous companies.
We both progressed into the foreman role on some complex projects and as the years went by we thought, Whats next? What's our next challenge?
So we decided that in order to progress in our chosen careers the time was right to start our own building company.
From there, Structur. was born.

I started my journey into the building industry as a quantity surveying student before wanting to become a builder.
My apprenticeship started much the same as Ash where I worked on large construction projects, before moving to a residential company that specialised in architectural residential and light commercial. There I became a foreman on many projects before moving into the office Pricing work, going back to my quantity surveying roots.
Born and bred in Dunedin, I enjoy the lifestyle on offer here and find the growth of the city exciting with the prospect of many interesting projects that will come our way.

My building background started as a steel erector at a large construction firm, from there I progressed into a carpentry apprenticeship working on large scale commercial buildings.
With a passion to become a more well-rounded builder I moved into the residential and light commercial side of things where I became a foreman for several years.
Originally from Australia but moving to Dunedin in late 2000, Dunedin has definitely become my home. I enjoy the lifestyle Dunedin produces with all experiences on offer and constant growth.
